[When you get home from work and classes on Monday, you may notice something is different about your back yard.

It might be that it now looks like someone redecorated it with unicorn blood and fur.

Most of the flesh and bones are missing.

Whoever did this enjoyed their work, far too much

They even did some finger painting of the happy family with the blood.]

[Black Mage is walking around town in his new green bed sheets and a bloody horn sticking out of his paper bag.

That horn might look familiar.

He is muttering and chanting, waving his hands in the air, and getting frustrated.]

Why won't this work! I think I got the words right.

You'd think a unicorn horn would be perfect for dealing with dimensional magic!

She tries to calm herself on his instruction, taking several deep breaths. Her hands are shaking as she clasps them together.]

I -- I'm not sure, but I think I might know who did this.

[She has no proof, and she isn't 100% sure. The town has no shortage of psychotics, after all. But there's one psycho in particular who harasses her, who has already threatened people close to her...

Even though she's staring at the ground, the horror in her eyes is obvious.]

Yes. I don't know that it's him. But he's threatened me before. He said that if I told anyone what he said to me, he would kill you.

[Her shaking worsens.]

He said he would torture you. He said he would kill all of my friends. If he did this... if he knows where I live now... he could be trying to send a message.

I didn't think it was. I know he's planning something on Halloween. I think he intends to hurt a lot of people.

[She's been so scared to tell anyone about Black Mage, even though she wanted to. Johan is the first person she's managed to tell in detail like this.

But if he really did this, then it's my fault he went after Rarity. I should have warned her about him.

I'm sure she won't. [That won't stop Nina from blaming herself, though. Without fully realizing it, she leans against Johan for support.] We're going to have to do something. This town is full of such dangerous people. We have to be able to protect ourselves and the children living with us.

[She's quiet at that first thing. Because he's right, but Nina can't help it.]

I know you don't like him, but I'm going to ask Theo to put wards up around our house. He had them up around the house I lived at with him, and they were strong enough to keep out most things. That, and I'm going to make sure everyone in the house can defend themselves if necessary. It won't solve every problem, but it's a start.
