[Pokey doesn't really pay attention. All he knows is that the Mage is down, and he needs to keep him down. So he just keeps swinging for a moment, unaware that the Mage is already gone, or appears to be so.
It's only after a few seconds or so more of swinging that he finally stops, shivering and shaking at what he's done. It...really isn't going to solve the problem in the long run, but hopefully it'll give the Mage pause before he tries to start shit with the people who mean something to him.
Pokey stares for just a moment more before, finally, running out of the house, bat in hand.]
